Corvettes of Lodi
What started as a small group in the 1980s has grown tremendously over the past 45 years, expanding to more than 100 members who share a common passion for the Chevrolet Corvette.
My husband discovered this group while searching Facebook for local events for us to attend. To my surprise, he found a local gathering that welcomed anyone with a Corvette and asked if I wanted to participate. Of course, I immediately said yes! As the owner of a 1976 Corvette Stingray, I was excited to become part of a community filled with people who share the same appreciation for these incredible cars.
My Corvette is far from perfect. She has her share of wear, imperfections, and character, but like many project cars, restoring and improving her is a journey that takes time, patience, and passion. Every step forward makes the experience that much more rewarding.
When we arrived at our first gathering, we were amazed by the variety of Corvettes on display. From classic models dating back to the 1950s to the newest generations from the 2020s, every era was represented. Each car had its own story—whether it had been passed down through generations, was someone's lifelong dream car, or was simply enjoyed for the pure pleasure of owning and driving a true American sports car.
Every Corvette has a story, and every owner has a reason they fell in love with theirs.
Because let's face it... who doesn't dream of owning one?
